Technical Systems (DTS) developed the SLICE MICRO standalone data
recorder. SLICE MICRO delivers precision shock and vibration data despite
diverse temperatures, and meets MIL-STD-810-E.
With its embedded sensor capability and advanced data recording
functionality, SLICE offers an all-in-one measurement solution. DTS packages
all this in a 42x42mm footprint, high-g form factor. SLICE does not need to
be tethered to a PC and can be embedded in the test article near the point of
interest. Not only does this simplify test set-up, but it also helps improve data
quality by eliminating long cable runs, which can cause issues with under-powering transducers, signal drop, noise, and electrical interference.
SLICE MICRO can be powered by a small battery and is very flexible in
adding extra input channels as needed, plus it’s fully configurable.
